Privacy Policy

Effective date: 15 September 2026

Reward is a digital loyalty and customer-rewards service from Better Tomorrow Tech, a brand operated by Better Tomorrow Co (“Reward”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

This policy explains how personal data is handled when businesses use Reward and customers participate in loyalty programmes hosted through loyalty.bettertomorrowco.tech.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the programme and features used, we may collect:

  • Merchant account information, including name, business name, email address, telephone number, account credentials and subscription information.
  • Customer information requested during enrolment, which may include name, mobile number, email address and account identifiers.
  • Loyalty activity, including programme membership, visits, stamps earned, reward eligibility, redemptions and related dates.
  • QR codes, programme identifiers and records used to verify or administer participation.
  • Verification information, including SMS or OTP delivery records where these features are used.
  • Billing details, invoices and transaction references. Complete payment credentials may be processed directly by payment providers.
  • Support requests, feedback and complaints.
  • Technical information, including IP address, device, browser, cookies, login activity and diagnostic or security logs.

2. How Information Is Used

Information may be processed to:

  • Create and administer merchant and customer accounts.
  • Enrol customers in selected loyalty programmes.
  • Record visits, stamps, rewards and redemptions.
  • Verify account access and programme activity.
  • Display programme progress and provide related notifications.
  • Help merchants administer their programmes and view activity.
  • Process subscriptions and provide support.
  • Prevent fraudulent stamps, unauthorised redemption and misuse.
  • Improve the service.
  • Meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

3. Merchant and Customer Responsibilities

Each participating business determines the rules and purposes of its loyalty programme. The business is responsible for providing appropriate notices, obtaining required consent and using customer information lawfully.

Reward may process customer information on the business’s instructions to operate the programme. The business may access or export information associated with its own programme where the platform permits.

Questions about a merchant’s use of information or its programme should normally be directed to that merchant.

4. Communications

Customers may receive verification, enrolment, stamp, reward or other programme-related communications.

Promotional messages must be sent only where permitted and with an appropriate means of opting out. Joining a loyalty programme does not automatically authorise every form of marketing.

5. Sharing of Information

Relevant information may be shared with:

  • The business operating the loyalty programme.
  • White-label platform, hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • SMS, email, verification and customer-support providers.
  • Payment and billing providers.
  • Professional advisers.
  • Authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety or security.

Information is processed for the service purposes described in this policy and must not be used for unrelated purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.

6. Cookies

Reward may use cookies and similar technologies for login, security, preferences, essential functionality and performance measurement.

Browser settings can be used to manage cookies. Disabling necessary cookies may affect account access and programme functionality.

7. Security and Storage

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service. No online platform can guarantee absolute security.

Information may be processed by providers in or outside India, subject to applicable legal requirements. Relevant breach notifications will be provided where required by law.

8. Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts and programmes, maintain activity records, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Closing an account or leaving a programme may not immediately remove records that must lawfully be retained.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about your personal data, correction or updating, erasure of information no longer required, withdrawal of consent and grievance redressal.

We may verify your identity before completing a request. Requests relating to data controlled by a merchant may need to be handled by that merchant.

10. Children

Merchants must satisfy applicable notice and parental-consent requirements before collecting children’s personal data through Reward. Merchant accounts must be opened by persons legally capable of entering into an agreement.

11. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated when the service, data practices or applicable requirements change. The revised version will display an updated effective date.
